Day Two:
Foods: Bowl of Wheat Chex, a cup of tea, and two tortillas with cream cheese. For dinner it's salmon and baked potatoes later.
Actually, the tea made my day. I made it this morning, and it lasted through about eleven o'clock. I just boiled some water and dumped it in a Thermos to take with me on the bus. I liked it for two reasons: 1.) no calories, or still very few if you slightly sweeten it. 2.) by drinking tea pretty much all morning, I wasn't really hungry for lunch, and ate less. Seriously, tea is weirdly filling. I love it way more than I should.
And guess what?!?!?!
I just weighed myself. Exactly 174.0. And while this is not a weight I want to be at, I honestly thought it would be more than that after my Thanksgivings. The bad thing is that aboout a month ago I started graphing my weight so visually see where I was in relation to where I should be to get to 140 on time, and this is the first time I've made a mark that was above my goal line. Darn Thanksgiving!
Other thing I'm starting to think: Warm food and drink is more filling, even when it's exactly the same food as if it were cold. Does anyone else seem to think this too? I bet a science teacher would tell me it's because warm atoms are more spread apart than cold atoms, so maybe that's why it's more filling. Whatever it is, I like the idea.
So,
Today's Weight: 174.0
I'm going to get back on track with my goal line!!!
Good Luck to All -- I'd like to hear your ideas and stories!

Let's Get Started!!!
DAY ONE:
Foods:
One and a half pancakes. Sausage patty. One cup or orange juice. A bit of syrup. About 10 too many malted milk balls.
It's after Thanksgiving. I most definitely ate too much this weekend. I figured, "what the heck -- it's a holiday! I'm entitled" Yeah, okay, but now I feel awful. I've probably gained back in one weekend what took me three weeks to lose.
Anybody else in this position?
This is my challenge. Get my weight down to 140 pounds by the end of May 2010. I'm going to do it. That's how I'm going to think, and I figure if I work at it, it will happen. I'm going to work at eating healthy, eating enough but not too much, eating only at meal times (no midnight fridge runs!) and excercising off what I eat. I can do it.
I also figure if I write about my eating and weight loss, and if people reading it comment, I'll want to actually work at a diet and such so I'm not ashamed to write. There, that's my schpeal for you to comment, if only once, just so I know someone's reading this. So please comment. You support me in my challenge, I'll support you. Actually, that'd be kind of cool if anyone would want to keep their own running challenge in the comments. (Anonymous of course. I like anonymous.)
So this is Day One. I'm not sure I'll be able to update this every single day, but I'll keep it current.
Starting Weight: About 175-180 pounds. I'm too scared to look at the scale after Thanksgiving.
I'll get a real weight tomorrow morning.
Good Luck to Everyone!!!
